I come for a long line of women who have sewn for fun and as a way of making a living. My great grandmother was probably the first and would make cute cotton dresses for my mother and her siblings back in Michoacan, Mexico, She would also make beautiful blankets from remnants and small scraps of material left over from other projects.
Nothing was ever wasted.
Part of my inspiration comes from her and from the many other women who have for ages created beautiful custom made clothing. My pieces are inspired from my family's Mexican history, and from my own love of custom made vintage, retro inspired pieces. I also have a strong love for Rockabilly classic designs and incorporate those into my work.
I hope I can help take you back in time to when things were made with thought and love and bring some of those warm feelings when you wear my pieces.
