Item description

VIRGINIA HISTORY IN DOCUMENTS An unusual item, complete, including a large wallet set including a paperback book, in very good condition, and a matching set of 10 reprinted documents, both covering the period of 1621 to 1788 in the history of Virginia. Use the 'Scroll Over' feature for meticulous scrutiny of the condition of the item. First up, the book.... Written by Wiiliam H Gaines, each chapter analyzes each of the documents, all of importance in regional constitutional history... 84 pages Published by Virginia State Library, Richmond, Virginia 1974 edition. Paperback 140mm x 215mm format, approx. An excellent reading and reference copy. Binding intact, no creases, and only the minimum signs of light reading and storage wear. No pen or ink marks or notations. Pictures uploaded, various views, all of the actual item. ...as for the reprinted documents themselves... There are 10, as per the chapters in the book, all of various sizes, all reproduced with attention to minor details such as rough cut edges, different shades of fading to the ink and the general all-round finishing of the paper itself... Housed in a full size wallet, matching the book - this has a scuff mark on the spine, approx. 4" x 1", nothing major. They are reproduced images of paperwork as scrutinized in the book, all, obviously relevant to Virginia history, Details of each can be seen in the photograph showing the chapter titles.
