This CPU has been stored for over two decades, but it has been recently cleaned, tested, and sealed into an airtight, anti-static pouch. The pins are protected by an anti-static foam square. I slotted and tested it personally. I've been putting systems like this together since the 90's and have come to appreciate known good vintage parts like this one. This CPU is one of many items from a computer store that closed in 2003 and has been carefully stored since then.
