Offered here is this nice Vintage Black Pillbox Hat with Mesh Net Vail. The hat is in very good condition, with little sign of wear at all. It is made by Patrice, and comes with the hat pin to keep it in place. The hat is made of a synthetic weave that is thin and allows air to flow through. It is covered by a black mesh net vail that has little squares of fabric glued onto it. The vail is in fairly good condition, but does have some tearing at the top. It is not physically attached to the hat, but simply sits on top so it's drop can be adjusted. I am unsure of the exact age of the hat. It most likely dates to the 1950's. It is 8.5" in diameter 3.5" top to bottom, and has a ribbon around the perimeter that matches the fabric on the vail. There is a little bow in the back. The hat could be worn with or without the vail. It is a beautiful vintage pillbox hat, with a great, classic look.
