USA 1943 POW WWII Card from Japan Taiwan Camp to Nebraska Reproduction 15687 Internet search produced the following It is a very good reproduction of the original sent to Father Flanigan from Bob Paradise a former resident of Boys Town Another copy is on display in the Boys Town museum in Nebraska Father Flanigan was a very clever man and saw the value of the postcard in fund raising He sent it to good contributors to Boys Town He was a medic or nurse captured on Bataanand was sent ahead to get the camp ready for the prisoners who survived the Death March He survived no less than 4 POW camps and was liberated on Formosa He is featured in a book Letters from the Front that was published by Boys Town Press He has the original postcard given back to him after the war
