Traffic Project #1005 Deluxe Wooden Car Kit Issue: / Year: 1930s Condition: WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS UNUSUAL AND IMPRESSIVE AUTOMOTIVE KIT in its original box - our consignor was so impressed with it that he kept it carefully for the last third of a century! Although we are not sure, this complex kit may well be complete. It includes the box top with all four flaps (some partly split along the seams), the box bottom with all four flaps, the instructions, a great number of factory-cut wooden parts ready for assembly, plus cardboard dividers (which are flattened, in the bottom of the box). The many wooden parts (for cars, buildings, your own gas station) look like they have never been played with, although they may have been long ago. This great kit was created by Creative Educational with A. I. Root Co. We do not see any date, but we feel the vehicles on the box top have a 1938 style, so we are estimating a 1930's date of manufacture. Measures about 16" x 11" x 2". CONDITION is nice. Overall we grade the box VERY GOOD / FINE (it has a little ink around the traffic cop, which is not very noticeable). The many car parts inside generally look around VERY FINE to us (some further condition details are in the paragraph above).
