Very good second edition of book first published in 1941. In soft covers. Charming red and white illustrations on front cover, (white on back cover) against blue backgrounds. Front and back covers have a few light scuffs; some shallow creasing toward the lower edges and minimal chips around edges. Pages are illustrated in b w with instructions in the margins and Teacher's Note at the back on how to engage students. Page edges are age-toned. Internal pages are also age-tanned, else internally clean with writing on approximately 17 pages.
