Item description

1:72 Scale Metal Diecast ? Sukhoi Su-57 5th Generation Russian Stealth Fighter - Russian Air Force ? Length: 11.25" Wingspan: 8.25? This Su-57 model is single seat aircraft and does not includes a pilot figure. The landing gear is optional, one can select to display the landing gear in its extended position or to cover the wheel wells as in the inflight position. There are two optional pieces for the weapons bay, one in the opened position showing the weapons and one in the closed position. A metal stand where the model can be attached for display is included. A metal display stand is included. The wheels can roll freely and are quite smooth (so be careful where you put this thing, or it could roll downhill). The fuselage is all metal. The maker of the model, Air Force 1, really did a good job with the model, the panel lines and details are very clearly defined. This is really a "no-play" model or a "display-only" model. It is mostly metal and very heavy. It also has a number of antennas which look great but are very fragile. If you have small kids that like to play with your models, save yourself some frustration (and money) and wait till later to get a model like this one. The box is labeled as not suitable for children under 14. The box measures 13 inches by 12 inches by 3.5 inches. The Sukhoi Su-57 is a stealth, single-seat, twin-engine multirole fifth-generation jet fighter being developed since 2002 for air superiority and attack operations. The aircraft is the product of the PAK FA (Russian: ??? ??, short for: ????????????? ??????????? ???????? ????????? ???????, romanized: Perspektivny Aviatsionny Kompleks Frontovoy Aviatsii, lit. ''prospective aeronautical complex of front-line air forces''), a fifth-generation fighter programme of the Russian Air Force. Sukhoi's internal name for the aircraft is T-50. The Su-57 is planned to be the first aircraft in Russian military service to use stealth technology. Its maiden flight took place on 29 January 2010 and the first production aircraft is expected to be delivered in 2019 with a second to follow in 2020.
