Because noise and vibrations are transmitted and amplified in drop ceilings, isolation hangers made with resilient rubber are great to break up sound waves. The noise absorption properties of the Resilmount A50R-2 allow it to deflect 3/16? when loaded to 120 lbs., which provides optimal isolation of transferred noise in accordance with US Standards. The Resilmount A50R-2 is easy to install into new or existing ceiling systems and does not reduce the load capacity of the ceiling systems. Installation: When calculating the mass of the ceiling system it is recommended to increase the calculation by 10-20% in order to avoid overloading of the isolation element. Once the hanging wire has been hung from the substrate, the lower end of the wire needs to be bent up in accordance with the ceiling system manufacturers specifications, providing a ?hook? on which the Resilmount? A50R-2 can be hung. Once the mount is in place, another section of hanging wire is required to be bent and inserted through the lower side of the Resilmount? A50R-2.
