Platte River 1954 Aviation Aeronautical Chart Map USAF A great vintage aeronautical chart from 1954. It is of the Platte River area. It is the US Air Force Edition and the size is 22" x 27 1/2". Compiled and printed in Washington DC by the US Coast and Geodetic Survey under the authority of the Secretary of Commerce. It is the 20th edition and dated December 2, 1954. This is an original 62 year old map and is in excellent condition. It shows air traffic control areas, lakes and waterways, roads and highways, landmarks, rivers, mountains, and elevations. The back side is full of information such as aeronautical symbols, a World Aeronautical Chart index, Topographical symbols and much more. Interesting reading for anyone that loves maps, aviation, or is doing research about the area from that time period. Nice vivid colors, so it would look great framed.
