About This Watch: This is a Longines 22A automatic movement, the very first automatic caliber produced by Longines, making it a historically significant piece for collectors. The craftsmanship of Longines in the 1950s and 60s rivals Omega—and restoring this movement confirmed that for me. The 22A movement has been completely restored and is now paired with a new old stock, authentic Longines 22A dial. Housed in a modern Swiss-made diver-style case measuring 36mm across and 42mm lug-to-lug. Fitted with a Swiss-made, solid-link stainless steel bracelet, a premium upgrade over typical folded metal bracelets. Solid-link bracelets offer superior comfort, durability, and value. This watch keeps excellent time—far better than the typical 2 minutes/day you might expect from a vintage piece.
