The book is a first edition, published in 1952 by Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc. I am unsure if it is a first printing. It is a hard cover book. The cover, spine and binding are all in very good condition, with only minimal wear at the corners and edges. The cover, however, does have some light scuffs and stains on it, as well as some wear at the edges. The 256 pages including index are intact and in good condition. This is a very nice book, in great condition, with many delicious recipes. It an interesting cookbook from when blenders were a brand new kitchen gadget. It is a great collectors book as well as fun.
