The Fire-Lite ES-50X addressable fire alarm control panels are equipped with pre-installed communicators and can accommodate up to 50 addressable devices, which may include various detectors or modules. These fire alarm control panels (FACPs) offer a comprehensive range of robust features and are programmed similarly to other Fire-Lite addressable panels, making them suitable for applications that were previously managed by conventional panels. The pre-installed IPOTS-COM functions as a dual technology communicator, utilizing both POTS and IP. The POTS component transmits system status updates (including alarms, troubles, and AC loss) to a central station through the public switched telephone network. Meanwhile, the IP communicator enables internet monitoring, allowing alarm signals to be sent over the internet, thereby eliminating the monthly expense associated with two dedicated business telephone lines. Although optional, a secondary telephone line can be maintained to provide backup communication through the public switched telephone network. Both remote and local programming of the control panels is achievable using the FS-Tools upload/download utility. Programming databases can be transferred via the panel's USB port (using a USB cable) or through an Ethernet connection with the IPOTS-COM communicator. The USB port also facilitates the upload or download of the entire program, history file, walk-test data, current status, and system voltages via a USB flash drive. The power supply and all electronic components are integrated onto a circuit board, which is mounted on a new quick-install chassis and enclosed in a metal cabinet.
