The Fire-Lite ECC-50/100(E) Emergency Command Centers serve as versatile emergency voice evacuation panels designed for fire and mass notification applications. The primary operating consoles (POCs) provide audio power of either 50 or 100W, capable of distributing to up to eight speaker circuits. Each command center is equipped with a single speaker circuit and a built-in 25 Vrms, 50W amplifier. An additional 50W amplifier can be incorporated for backup on a single speaker circuit or to enhance system capacity to two speaker circuits, providing an extra 50W of audio power. By adding an optional ECC-CE6 module, the system can be upgraded to support a maximum of eight speaker circuit outputs. Speaker output circuits can be configured in either Style Y (Class B) or Style Z (Class A). The command centers feature -14 field-programmable messages (up to 60 seconds each), integrated field-configurable pre- and post-announce tone generators, and a fully supervised notification appliance circuit (NAC) with 2A of synchronized NAC power. The ECC-50/100(E) includes three built-in Form C relay contacts, a NAC follower input for activating the onboard NAC circuit, and 500 mA of special application power. A built-in power supply utilizing switch mode technology provides operational power to the panel, while an onboard battery charger supports the charging of batteries up to 26AH. In fire protection applications, the ECC-50/100(E) acts as an adjunct (slave) to any UL Listed Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), offering reverse polarity or contact closure functionality, and can also operate as a standalone unit for non-fire applications. For seamless integration of fire and mass notification systems, the ECC-50/100(E) can be activated directly via serial communication with the ES-200X, MS-9600(UD)LS, or MS-9200UDLS. When activated through other FACPs, the eight onboard command input circuits (CMDs) are utilized. Two of these CMD circuits can be individually programmed for activation by an FACP notification appliance circuit's reverse polarity, while all eight can be triggered by a contact closure. Furthermore, the ECC-50/100(E) can be activated from a building's private branch exchange (PBX) using the integral night ring feature. All programming is facilitated through a straightforward built-in programming utility accessible from any laptop. For enhanced flexibility, the ECC-50/100(E) supports both 25 and 70.7 Vrms speaker output operations. By incorporating a 70V transformer conversion module or an additional 70.7V secondary amplifier, the system can accommodate 70.7V speaker devices. The ECC-50/100(E) can be expanded to meet the needs of larger or more complex installations. To enhance control and increase system capacity, any combination of up to eight external remote consoles and up to eight distributed audio amplifiers can be connected via the external data bus and audio riser data bus, creating a fully integrated command center. A fully-equipped system can support a total audio power of up to 1,100W and up to 24 speaker circuit outputs.
