"Chainmail" Tunic Choose Gold on black or Silver on black I've been making these "chain mail" tunics to go with my Link costumes for ages. Now you can get one for whatever costume you want. I have included some Link costume photos in the gallery so you can see how interesting this fabric "chain mail" can look. In terms of fashion photography, it is "VERY Editorial" The only silver example with a costume is the Black Link, all the others are gold. If you are ordering for a Link costume the Silver on Black is good for Dark Link and Skyward Sword. Twilight Princess goes with gold The Fabric is 83% nylon and 17% metallic Care: Machine wash cool delicate, No chlorine bleach, Line dry (I put it on a hanger to dry) You can wash the $#!% out of this tunic and it will last and last and that is good because this might be the layer that catches the most sweat! The fit will be quite loose, not snug at all, but fitted at your shoulders I add 6" to the chest measurement you give when cutting the fabric, I'd say it shrinks down to 4" looser than the measurement. Fabric has stretch one direction and that will be across to make walking/squatting, etc easier You can customize the length of sleeve, overall length of tunic and even the neckline if you wish. Here is what I'll need to know (see below for HOW to measure): What is the measurement around your chest? How long do you want the tunic? How long do you want the sleeve? what is the measurement across your shoulders? Do you want a different neckline than is shown? Here is how you'll measure: Put on a nice fitting T-shirt and use the seams of the sleeve and across the shoulder as your guide. NICE FITTING, seams are in the right place TOO LOOSE, seams are hanging, DON'T USE Let's call the seam where the sleeve is attached to the shirt the "sleeve seam" and the seam that traverses the shoulder (from sleeve seam to neckline) will be called the "shoulder seam" For the ACROSS SHOULDERS measurement, go across the back, shoulder to shoulder, measuring from sleeve seam to sleeve seam SLEEVE, measure from sleeve seam at top of shoulder, down your arm to where you want your sleeve to end OVERALL LENGTH, measure from the tip top shoulder seam down your front, to where you want it to end. (Measure over the bulkiest part of you, don't go down the side edge) For the CHEST MEASUREMENT, raise up your arms and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, then take a breath and lower your arms How to choose size and each is priced according to fabric need: If the chest measurement is under 30" and you don't need it longer than 32", order the SMALL (takes 1 yard of fabric) If the length you need is over 36" order the XL (takes 3 yards of fabric) Size large is for any chest and up to 36" long (takes 2 yards of fabric)
