In creating this necklace I selected 10 mm x 8 mm barrel and 4 mm Turquoise beads, a carved orange cinnabar pendant and sterling silver findings including beads and a toggle clasp. The "Cinnabar" pendant was manufactured in China and has the symbol for longgivity on it. Cinnabar is often lacquered wood from China, stained to match the color of the mineral cinnabar. However, this pendant has a baketite feel to it. The pendant is 2 3/8" by 1 1/2" by 3/8" and the necklace is 18 1/2" in length. Great detail on both sides of the pendant.
