Item description

ReplacementCorp, one of the largest factory electronics websites, has branched out!! If you?ve been to our ReplacementCorp site, you know we have a HUGE selection of OEM parts and compatible accessories. Now we?re offering a few select products here too. Same great ReplacementCorp quality.....in a new location. SUMMARY Brand new Has never been used in a vehicle Don't pay $20+ for this part through GM OEM factory original MODE Traction control switch Not a knock-off Can be changed without removing console See DETAILS section Wiring not included But a complete harness is available in another listing Item 391903533017 Taken from an assembly line left-over console Excellent condition GM part number 23385718 or 84516291 30 day exchange-only warranty DETAILS This MODE and traction control stab switch has never been in a vehicle. It is in excellent condition because it was removed from a New Old Stock, assembly line leftover console. (We have different console parts available in other listings. Please email if you have questions.) It is GM part number 23385718 or 84516291. (They're interchangeable.) It lists for $20+ on the GM sites. If you're attempting to replace an existing module, make sure this matches your part number. A wiring harness is required for use of this part. If you did not have the MODE-Traction switch previously, merely purchasing this switch may not get you up and running. The proper wiring harness may be required. We have one version of the harness in another listing: item 391903533017. It will be up to you to install this switch and part of that installation may involve sourcing other parts. This can be installed without completely removing your console. We have successfully removed one (from a semi-complete console) here from the top side. All it takes is a narrow, slim, rigid pry tool. (We used a plastic trim tool that was about 3/8" wide and very thin at the end, yet somewhat rigid.) First you have to remove the trim piece that goes around the switch. (And probably up on around the shifter. We're not sure. That trim piece was not present on our console.) Then look at the new switch so you understand how the pressure tabs work that hold it in place, as well as where they are located. (They're approximately 1/2" wide and there's one on each side of the switch.) They must be depressed for it to pop out of position. Using the pry tool, you can get on the very top edge of each tab (one at a time) and push it in towards the switch. Pull up on the switch with your other hand when you get the tab pushed in. It should pop loose and you can move to the other side. It might take two or three tries but it can be done. (We did one here and had it out in less than a minute, and we had never removed one from the top before either...) Again, looking at the new switch and seeing the pressure tabs will help you understand what to do and where to insert the pry tool around your existing switch. APPLICATIONS Chevy Camaro: 2016-2022 SHIPPING, HANDLING RETURNS Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code. This site does the figuring, not us. If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours. Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates. We will enter a tracking number into your order details here on the site. They will email it to you if your notification preferences are set correctly. A signature is not typically required. If you are not home to receive the package, it will most likely be left at your door. Please monitor it's progress and arrange to collect it when it arrives. This site provides a section/tab in each ad for Shipping information. We encourage you to check that section for prices, methods, time-frames, etc.
