Barnes Engineering RM2A Radiometric Monocular Microscope With Controller This is a used microscope. It is in good cosmetic condition. The micrometers have surface rust, but can be turned by hand but are pretty tight when they turn. This scope could use some cleaning. It does not come with an objective. The stage is labeled, "R.S. Wilder". The controller powers on and we can change the reading on the meter with the controls. The power cord on the controller is not in very good condition and should be replaced. The control cable from the controller to the microscope looks fine visually, but we are not able to fully test it. The heating plate that is mounted to the top of the stage gets hot when the switch is turned on. The stage has a self centering type of movement that if you place it off center it goes back to center when you let go. It only comes with what is shown in the pictures.
