We present to you a unique and rare ankh, expertly crafted by the hands of Egyptian artists, completely embroidered with crystal. Ankh. The key to life. Fully embroidered with crystals. Egyptian cross. Pharaonic cross. A distinctive tool for rituals and ceremonies. Copies made in Egypt
The ankh has a cross shape but with a teardrop-shaped ring instead of the vertical upper band. The origins of the symbol are unknown, although several hypotheses have been proposed. It was used in writing as a triliteral sign, representing a series of three consonants, ?-n-?. This sequence is found in many Egyptian words, including words meaning "mirror," "bouquet," and "life." In art a symbol often appears as a physical object representing either life or substances such as air or water associated with it. It was especially common for it to be kept in the hands of the ancient Egyptian gods, or given by them to the pharaoh, to represent their power to preserve life and revive human souls in the afterlife.
