Item description

(2) Two certificates belonging to Carleton Lewis Roberts of Maine. One being issued May 24, 1946 by the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Portland, Maine. The other being a Winthrop, Maine Public Schools Grammar Department certificate from 1926. Freemasonry item measures approximately 22 x 17, and the Winthrop Public Schools certificate measures 17 x 14. Condition: These are original paper documents, not a copy or reproduction. The Freemasonry item is rolled and in excellent condition. The Public Schools item is folded flat and heavily creased, with age browning. Comments: We know from other items belonging to Carleton Lewis Roberts that he was a 1930 graduate of Hebron Academy in Hebron, Maine. He was also a student at Colby College in Winthrop, Maine.
