Item description

? Acer pseudoplatanus 'Eskimo Sunset' 1-2 ft tall bare root grafted plant. One of the showiest maples, this striking deciduous tree is a true standout in any garden. New spring leaves emerge in vibrant orange-pink, maturing to deep green with splashes of cream, tan, and pink, while the undersides remain a rich purple. Leaf colors vary with sunlight, and the fall foliage adds an extra layer of beauty in shades of orange and yellow. ? Known as Sycamore Maple ‘Eskimo Sunset’, this upright grower is a rare and eye-catching specimen. The large variegated leaves make it ideal as a focal point in the landscape. Its bold foliage brings year-round interest and draws attention even from a distance. ? Discovered in New Zealand’s Esk Valley, this tree is prized for its unusual color contrasts and exceptional garden presence. The purple undersides of the leaves are especially unique and add depth to its visual impact. ? Grows best in full sun to partial shade. Prefers consistently moist but not soggy soil. Ideal for growing zones 5 through 8. Reaches about 12 feet tall and 10 feet wide in ten years, eventually maturing to 25 feet tall. ? Plant will be sent bare root during dormancy period November to April. Potted from May to October. Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
