This 'block' component contains both the CD6 drive mechanism AND the display control board. It is a brand new original Honda part and comes with the original Theft Code stickers. Apply them in multiple places, like your glovebox and owners manual and forget about ever getting locked out of your radio again. Accord radios are known for their problems with the CD drives and the display. This fixes both issues at once! No need to buy a whole new radio for 2-3 times the money. It is very easy to install once you've removed your radio from the dash. There are only 4 phillips-head screws that hold it in place. (Two on each side of the block.) It couldn't be easier. APPLICATIONS This block will work in the following vehicles, as long as you have a 7BK1, 7BK2, 7BY1, 7BY2, 7FY1 or 7FY2 radio. (Face code is found in the lower right corner of your display window, in small white print.) This is NOT compatible with the 7BK0 or 7BY0 radio!! Don't assume it is just because it is nearly identical. It is different!! Unfortunately we have FAR too many people (about 50%) who buy these without checking their face code and then ask to return or exchange it. As a result, we may ask you to confirm your face code prior to shipping. We reserve the right to refund the payment and cancel the order if we do not get a response.
