This new old stock-testing RCA 6L6 output tube was tested on our Maxi Matcher 2 for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured: 30 milliamps / 3060 micromhos (RCA logo and 6L6 stenciled on metal tube with code V4; clean pins and NOS-Testing) Tubes tested with 400 volts on the plates and a bias of -48 volts. New old stock US-made 6L6s typically test with plate current from the mid-teens to mid 30s with transconductance from around 2200 micromhos. Sound tested in our shop amp (see pic).
