Finish is actually pretty good, but it doesn?t open a close smoothly. If you look at the pictures of the end, you can see one part is slightly flattened and that may be why. If you look at the last photo that is the point that it feels sticky when you open or close. Like it hits that point and takes a little more to turn than normal. Once it goes past that it opens and closes normally I did soak it in very hot water and scrub with rubbing alcohol to clean it.
