Beautiful old valentine made with gold Mansell Lace. There is a Towgood 1853 watermark on the back of the card. There is a silk panel on the front with applied scraps and hand painting. 5 1/2 x 3 5/8 inches. Small cards like this one, are actually more rare than the larger cards for this time period. Nice valentine for a collection. Very good condition.
