These are ten (10) authentic, uncirculated United States of America Two Dollar ($2) Notes First issued by The Continental Congress June 25th 1776. These will be in consecutive order by 10's (not shown). Former US President Thomas Jefferson is featured on the face of the note. The reverse shows a modified reproduction of the painting, "The Declaration of Independence" by John Trumbull. The bill was discontinued in 1966 but was re-introduced 10 years later as part of the United States Bicentennial celebrations. Today, however, it is rarely seen in circulation and actual use.
