Vintage 1960s Plastic Lucite RPS Republican and 50 similar items

Belonging to my friend's father, this VINTAGE, Mid-Century “Lucite Plastic RPS Republican Progress Squad Pennsylvania Tack Lapel Scatter Pin” was found in a cigar box full of penknives, ribbons, medals, political pins buttons and assorted small pieces of men's jewelry; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. My friend is getting ready to move to a smaller home and MUST downsize; she has asked me to sell what she isn't taking with her. In EXCELLENT Condition, there are NO marks, stains, odors, chips, cracks or other damage. With a width of approximately 5/8ths of an inch and a height of approximately 3/4ths of an inch, the original Pin Tack is intact, working smoothly and holding securely; it is NOT Marked. Made from a deep yellow Lucite Plastic, the letters "RPS" are outlined in brown, as is the accent line around the sides. This is a Republican Progress Squad Pin used by the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania in 1960, it has been safely and securely stored.
