We protect our radios VERY well for shipping but we often got them back with inadequate protection and/or in under-sized boxes. We simply can't take the chance it will get back here damaged. If it was a $2 item, no problem. But not a $200 item. Just make sure it's the same as your part number or your dealer guarantees it is 100% interchangeable and you won't have a problem. If you have a defect within the warranty period (which shouldn't happen with a new, tested radio), we offer replacement with the same part number only.
