From an estate sale here in the Great Plains of the Dakotas. The Hudson At Peekskill Currier Ives Color Lithograph Reproduction Frame is dark wood with gold painted trim. Glass covered No apparent tears but a few spots under the glass as shown. Backing paper on frame is torn as shown. Research indicates a date of 1865 for this scene of Peekskill harbor viewed from the road above. Several factories in the foreground. A Dayliner steamer and full masted ships and sloops. Several groups of pedestrians strolling as well as a horse and carriage. Approximate measurements: 14" x 8 1/2" image 17" x 12" with margins 17 1/5" x 12 1/2" frame Great care will be taken when packaging this framed art.
