Original Antique Hand Painted Print La Mule and 10 similar items

Rare original hand painted print La Mule (The Slipper) from 1913 second edition of Modes et Manieres d'Aujour'hui, plate #4 by Charles Martin (1884-1934), French designer. This publication was like a modern fashion magazine for wealthy people throughout the world back in late 1800s - early 1900s with only 300 copies issued per edition. Each copy was stencil printed on Japanese paper and then painted by hand with gouache. The size of the print is approx. 6.5" X 10". It was cut off on sides for framing. The frame size is 13 5/8" X 11 5/8". The print is in good condition with two small water stains on top with minimal paint disturbance. No rips, no grease staining, minimal yellowing. The print is attached with tape to the double mat and framed in a solid wood frame with glass. The frame has dings and damages and is too chip for this print, in our opinion. It is a free addition to the print. Re-framing is highly recommended. The value is with the print and not with the frame. Damages to the frame and glass during transportation are not a valid reason for refunds. Buyer can request shipping without the frame. The print comes from the house of antiques collector in SF Bay Area. We have issued a Certificate of Authenticity with all key information for your records.
