Mid Century Modern Green Pottery Handmade and 50 similar items

Mid century modern red clay platter, designer green pottery. Handmade in 1963, signed PJC. Most likely, the platter was made by Californian artist Peggy Christgau as it comes from the home of the artist's friends which was full of her art pieces. The platter is in a good vintage condition with two glaze dings on one side (see photo). It is not intended to serve food, for decoration purposes only. It is 14" X 6.5" X 1 3/4"H. Relatively heavy. Note: we sell vintage items that were pre-owned and used. They may have signs of wear. This is not a defect but a natural character of a used product. I try to provide honest descriptions as detailed as possible.
