Need a one-of-a-kind vintage dress that will knock the socks off your date ( or hubby!) at the next gala event you attend? Look no further; THIS is it! You'll feel like a princess if you can fit into the small size! In excellent condition.
The vintage 1950s party dress is made of changeable taffeta, changing from blue to purple depending on the shadows and angles. It has a surplice V shaped neckline, short puffed sleeves, a fitted wide waistband with a dip in the front and back for a flattering fit. The skirt is very full.
There is a side zip and a built-in stiff "slip," though you might want a petticoat to add to the fullness.
No label, but it is definitely store-made. I am not sure if the fabric is silk. It feels like raw silk.
