Pre-viewed for quality and it had a few rolling lines on the end credits, otherwise it played great on my Panasonic vcr. Box is nice and clean and the cassette has store branded security stickers on the spine and left endcap assuring you of first generation quality.

Based on Homer's 2700-year-old epic poem, relating the adventures of King Odysseus of Ithica. On the day his son is born to faithful wife Penepole (Greta Sacchi), Odysseus (Armand Assante) is commanded by the goddess Athena (Isabella Rossellini) to leave his home and travel to battle the Trojans.
Little does he realize that this is the begining of a 20-year sojurn, where additional trials include sea monsters, the Cyclops, the Kingdom of the Dead, enchantress Circe (Bernadette Peters), and getting shipwrecked on the isle of Calypso (Vanessa Williams), who wants to keep the hunk around.
But even Odysseus knows there's no place like home.
