Item description
Saucer Magnolia Soulangeana 6-12" in a 2.5" Pot.
1 Saucer Magnolia 6-12" in a 2 1/2” pot. The Saucer Magnolia is a landscape show stopper with early spring blossoms and lush summer time leaves that add a nice contrast to its silvery gray bark. One of the most popular flowering trees in the United States. The Saucer Magnolia is also widely planted in Europe. It is considered both a flowering tree and an ornamental tree. Its attractive pink and white flowers appear saucers in late Feb.-April with some blossoms reappearing through out the summer months and possibly into winter. Can be trained to grow as either a shrub, small tree with multiple stems or single tree trunk.
It is considered a medium rate tree with height increases with 13-24" per year.
The ideal conditions are full sun meaning it should get at least 6 hours of direct sun per day.
Hardy in zones 4-9.
Grows well acidic loamy well drained soil.
Planting instructions are included with every order.
California orders ship bare root November-April only due to soil restrictions.
