Item description

These seeds have been "Cold Stratified", the hard part done for you, ready for you to plant. Kept refrigerated, not frozen, for at least 90 days or more in damp Peat Moss (the correct way). We mail our seeds in a damp cloth, to keep moist. Do not let seeds dry completely out. Keep Moist. *Other sellers may say they are stratified, but send dry seeds. If you receive dry seeds, either they are now dead or "haven't been stratified". *If you buy persimmon seeds that have not been cold stratified, then you will have little to no success in germination rate this year, however some will come up the next year due to natures cold stratification of the winter process. The persimmon trees are hardy in USDA zones 5 through 10. Easy to care for and maintain, a delicious sweet fruit bearing tree for jellies, jams, cookies, and pies. Not to mention the beautiful fall foliage. Our garden is 100% ORGANIC.
