eBay’s Managed Payments is simply the method that they use to process the sale, collect their FVF, transaction fees and then forward to you (the seller) what is left over. Advertising (publishing) your Bonanza items on eBay has no bearing on what or how eBay collects their money from you.

Since Bonanza is not collecting the money from the buyer, Bonanza’s service in this process is simply allowing you the ease of putting your Bonanza items on eBay’s service. If it sells on eBay, you owe eBay the money for the selling fees.

You can try uploading from Bonanza to eBay and see what happens. Maybe they’d notify you to join MP if you sold something? From what I understand they are requiring all sellers to join Managed Payments, and you’d have to be in it to get payment from the sale.

If you want to pursue that, I’d suggest you get a separate checking account first, with an attached debit card that you can also use as your “backup” payment method. Disassociate any eBay / PayPal and eBay / credit card you may have connected to your eBay account presently.

Use a different/new bank or credit union for eBay only. Create a closed loop of new checking account to receive payment, and new related debit card to pay seller’s fees. Nothing really bad can happen if you isolate that account from any other banking accounts you have. Keep the balance in that account low, as that would be the money at risk with them going forward, from which they could take chargebacks, refunds, etc. Good luck.

If you want to try and see for sure, send one product as a test. I’m not certain if it’s possible but have zero interest in that platform. Managed Payments was the deal breaker for us. Good luck, here and wherever else you offer your products / creations.

Don’t believe you’d be able to send your items from here to there, without having managed payments set up there.

I dont send to Ebay but that kinda sucks as some (like me) ditched Ebay JUST because the Managed Payments forced was the last straw. It was at least for me.Fe

I agree that you’d have to have MP there if you expected to sell anything there, whether it be from Bonanza or directly listed on EB.

I’m an ebay seller & have been for over 21 years. I’m in ebays managed payments & it isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Whenever I list an item after I’ve used up my free listings the listing fee is deducted from my payout. When I purchase a shipping label the cost is deducted. All my seller fees are deducted. I have my funds deposited to my bank every Tuesday. Everything I owed ebay for the week has already been paid for so my payout is mine without having to worry about paying ebay anything out of my weekly payout. Ebay sales compared to Bonanza sales makes it all worthwhile to be in their managed payments~~-0- sales on Bonanza with $1000.00 to $1500.00 in sales a month on ebay. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the best place to be.

Also, the free listings are increased to 250 per month if you are in MP.
