Is there a way to use the saved trait profile for similar items when you are editing?

I am just getting set up with Bonanza imported a cvs file from etsy and now trying to add details size/color to several similar items I saved the trait profile but do not see a way to use this for the next similar item I need to edit

Great question @julypu! Yes, you should be able to apply saved trait profiles to similar items. The thing you have to remember is that any item trait profile (ITP) you create is only valid for one category — the category that it was created in. If you create an ITP for the traits under the category “Antiques >> Books >> American,” you will only be able to apply that ITP to other items that are posted in the exact same category. This is necessary because all categories have different traits, which in many cases vary in only subtle (but significant) ways.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
