I have a buyer who emailed me in my personal email stating she never received her item, yet USPS tracking shows it was delivered to her front door…

Hi Deb
First, let her know tracking shows delivered on xx day. If she didn’t see it, suggest she check with family members in case someone else brought it in, or neighbours, in case it was delivered to wrong house.
After she does that, you could contact her PO and ask for the GPS coordinates of the delivery. Perhaps it was mis-delivered and then USPS can chase it down.
If it shows delivered to HER house, tell her to file a police report for stolen goods (porch pirates), and also to USPS for lost or stolen mail. If it was just now this happened, perhaps the mailman pre-scanned the parcel and she’ll get it today or tomorrow.
Once you’ve done your job, it’s really not your fault if the buyer has no safe place to leave her parcels. You delivered to the address given and have no further responsibility.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
