Yes, there have been a few times within blogs where it’s been mentioned recently that there was going to be a makeover of the home page.

Thanks for positng. I did not think to keep an eye out for the change.

I like how it mentions something like “see what others are viewing.” It looks like sellers do not have to have a membership to show up in this area. I really like this idea.

Thank You I probably have seen in blog but forgot I been working on cleaning up listings with suggesetions seen like not putting certain trait words like new it titles, using bullet lists, got to get pictures cleaned up and with a better background.. and getting more new items ready to list.

I don’t care for the top section to big to say to little. i like the Curated Guides section. Something like that would be better on opening page just my opinion.

I have been disappointed with the “new” homepage since it emerged. And, I will throw the silly canted “b” into this comment also. Prior to the “new” (and not so improved) homepage, I always felt good about landing in Bonanza land. The images were inviting with a touch of class and good design elements. The new display feels clunky and, for me, not visually satisfying. I’ve been on this site for almost as long as Bonanza and I wonder why this format (and the “b”) was a necessary change. Does it make me want to engage more, sell more, buy more—no, it does not.

  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
