Hello @Gifts4u2,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that sales have not met expectations. Selling on the internet can be a challenge because the only constant factor is change. Each seller’s business is different, so it is difficult to form a single response that may assist in increasing sales. You may want to consider adding more items to your booth, offering free shipping (studies show that over 50% of buyers abandon their carts when shipping is not included in the purchase), sharing your listings on social media, or purchasing a TurboTraffic pack to see how those adjustments can help your business grow.

We’ve also put together a great help page with some tips and tricks which may drive additional traffic to your [URL removed]

You might want to consider having a paid membership.I have 2 booths. One is a PAID MEMBERSHIP ,the other is a FREE MEMBERSHIP booth. There is a big difference on traffic and sales on the two with better traffic /sales on my paid membership booth.

not a fair comparison..the membership has 480 items and the other has 34…it may not be the membership, but the number of items that gives the store more sales

I agree. That’s a REALLY big difference in items listed.

One thing…have you ever considered getting a nice catchy banner…

Anyway…you say you sell on other sites..which is fine, but you do realize that your items are found, it is just that the buyers either find them on other sites first or search the other sites first….

Also you have a very small booth which just does not have enough strength/variety to pull in lookers/buyers. Bonz depends heavily on google product search and the items you sell are not the type buyers for the most part would search GPS (Google product search for)…they essentially would just go straight to etsy or ebay…and not bother to search elsewhere (this is my opinion)…..

ccmom is correct, you need many more items to even get noticed. Also are you listing the same items on the other sites? This site is not as well known as etsy or ebay, so people will go there first…..Well, at least they used to go there, I dont even think ebay has many sales any longer Lol……But anyway, they will go there first bf they come here or do a google search….So add more items, if you have the same items on ebay, list them here lower, or dont list them over there at all….We also have groups here where we promote each others items., you may want to look into that.

Hello!

I agree with the comments so far, with these additional [URL removed]

1) If you’re in to selling your products for the long haul, consider changing your generic shop name to something outstanding,
2) change the images for your knitted products (afghans, caps) to something more artfully arranged,
3) brighten the backgrounds and overall view of all of your product images,
4) add more images for most of your products, especially the knitted items, showing them in different views, with some not on the mannequin,
5) get a shop banner set designed for your new shop name,
6) use a live model (yourself, family member, friend) for some of your accessories,
7) take pics of your books straight on or directly above, rather than angled or sloped backwards, add a couple images of some inside pages.

You have included categories, which helps customers to quickly find items.

I know some of my suggestions may seem overwhelming and expensive, but if you are committed to your online selling, then the investment in an overhaul will be worth it in the long run.

You can learn, of course, to brighten and sharpen your own images, and to re-brand your shop(s) yourself, as well as create your own new banner. Meanwhile, I do offer brightening/sharpening services. I sell banner/web sets also, and there is a seller who lists them entirely [URL removed]

I will also be listing creative services for shop/business naming, when I can get to it :). I enjoy it and am very good at it. Just haven’t had time to put together my listing, questionnaire, etc.

I am glad that you are doing well with your other venues. My suggestions are useful for well-performing shops too.

P.S. I like your book Spray Paint Papercrafts by Krylon. Since my budget is so-o-o-o-o tight, I Googled it. Look at this listing of where I can get it for $4.40-something-cents from at least 6 places to [URL removed] [URL removed] Consider doing a search for some things that you will list, so that you can list them at comparable prices. In this way you can skillfully compete, unless you’re just set on what you want to charge. Will email you with offer.

A seller at Etsy is selling it for more than you are though, $10 + $8.95 [URL removed] [URL removed] .

The only thing I noticed was that the description is long and the pertinent info does not appear in the first 6 words of the description. I was doing that by putting Vintage in front of everything which wasn’t getting to the real description that would show to buyers if they went to my booth. Hand made and hand crocheted is fine but make sure ladies hat or scarf appears under the description too and more toward the beginning of the description. Just a though. It might help and it might not. It is harder when you have a few items. If you are the designer and maker maybe you could offer custom colors in a certain time frame to potential buyers.
