Trademark violation???

Just got an email from Bonanza that states one of my items has been removed due to trademark violation. Since the item is a generic set of makeup brushes from a Chinese supplier, (who I contacted about using pics of the item), I am not sure what this means. Has anyone else had this happen? The link in the email sends me to another booth that looks like it is from Spain. TIA

Oh yes, I have seen this. I wasn’t aware I couldn’t sell perfume testers.

If you read the email VERY close, there will be the contact information for the person who filed claim of this violation. There will be the name, email addy and probably their phone number.

You need to contact them. Bonanza can’t help you. They are only following a set of rules all sites like Bonanza have to legally follow.

I hope this helps

The Chinese supplier could be violating the trademark, hence, you were impacted. China never lets a simple thing like trademarks keep them from using trademarked images. They rarely create, they copy.

I would notify the U.S. Trade office. You can file a complaint [URL removed] [URL removed] .

[URL removed]
“Submit complaints related, but not limited [URL removed] tariff and customs barriers; service barriers; standards, testing, labeling, or certification barriers; rules of origin; intellectual property violations; government procurement contract barriers; intellectual property protection problems; excessive government regulations/requirements; excessive testing or licensing fees; and investment-related problems.”

The President ordered his trade office to investigate China stealing intellectual property and that investigation is going on now. Let them know how the ripple effect of their theft affected you, a small American seller. We finally have an admin friendly to small business people – if ever there was a time to speak up, it’s now.

Whatever you do, sorry this happened to you. It’s a shock – happened to me, too so I empathize 100 percent.
