SEO questions please

I have some questions on SEO.

Question, I tried searching for Google attributes while using Google organic the other day and could not find it. Do you know the link to it? or can you point me in the right direction…thanks.

Also, when people (Bonanza employees for example) mention SEO, do you mean for Google organic, Google shopping and on Bonanza. And if Bonanza, when a shopper makes a search using keywords in Bonanza’s search box, will this also search our descriptions and not just our titles?

Thanks very much.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for asking about SEO. Usually, when we are talking about SEO we are talking broadly about search results, but especially about Google Shopping since that is where it is used the most.

Attributes are similar to traits. Every category has traits that can be added when you are creating a listing. If you have more information that the traits allow, you can add it to your description. Google Shopping uses the first 160 – 500 characters of a description to provide search results.

A basic word search on Bonanza will look at listing titles. On the left of the page you will see a section called “Refine Your Search”. You can check the option to “Search descriptions”.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
