New to bonanza and i am thoroughly confused

Hi

I am totally baffled—I have an Etsy store, followed the directions to download my store to Bonanza. Do I then have to edit each item (since every item is different) to have it appear in my booth? Also, how do I see what is in my booth as a customer sees it. I also received an email from someone at Bonanza saying they were checking my reputability (is that a word…lol) through ebay—they said that there were people that were selling jewelry as antique and it wasn’t. I assured the person that we have had a brick and mortar store since 1950, are listed with the Jewelers Board of Trade and I am a graduate gemologist having earned my G.G. in residency. I also stated that I do not have an ebay store only an etsy store—I have never heard anything back. Then today I have a message at the top of my screen that 2 items are under review ( THINK I only have one item in my booth however)—so I have no idea what that is about. Next is this site free or not—I tried to put items in my booth and this prompt keeps coming up saying that I have to pay $25 per month??? Also, the photo editing is that free because it says it is free but when I read all the information there is a section under FAQ’s that says there is a price break for large quantities of photos—but no pricing structure is to be found anywhere.

I am sooooo sorry buy I am so very, very confused—Please I need help in figuring this out. I would like to list all 200+ items from my Etsy store but I am totally lost.

Thank you for any help—
Patty

Hi Patty, i dont know about Etsy, i have never transferred any of my items from there to bonanza. Not sure who that person was, but i know there is a group of people that “patrol” sites to try to find fakes, bags shoes designer items and i suppose jewelry, so they may have reported it to Bonanza. My guess.

Yes, the site is free. You are probably just getting a message to sign up for membership, which you DO NOT have to do.

I have never had a problem editing my photos or asked to pay anything to do that, very possibly for large qty of photos, maybe. I am not sure on that one, I do mine one at a time, and I have never had to pay.

Hopefully someone comes along soon that knows a bit more about these issues you are having and can help you out.

Wow! Thank you so much for your help!! You cleared up a lot of questions!! Seriously, thank you for being so kind as to take the time to respond—I totally appreciate it!!

Welcome to Bonanza.

“Do I then have to edit each item (since every item is different) to have it appear in my booth”

If You have already downloaded Your items from Etsy, check Your listings, maybe You need to correct anything. You don’t need to edit each item, try to use the batch edit options (My Store —> Batch edit items).

When You are ready, click on the green “Update booth” [URL removed]
My Store —> Add or edit items —> Update booth
Bonanza staff will review Your shop and release Your items online. If You don’t have visible items after 24 h contact [URL removed] [URL removed]

“I have an Etsy store, followed the directions to download my store to Bonanza.”
" I have a message at the top of my screen that 2 items are under review ( THINK I only have one item in my booth however)"

If You have downloaded Your Etsy shop, then You have more items in Your B. shop (just not visible online yet). And about those 2 items… just an automatic info to let You know that they will check Your items to see, if they are eligible for sale here.

About photos – as misskeech mentioned above, adding photos is free (I think up to 12), just keep adding Your pictures, until the next ‘photo plus’ icon [URL removed]

“Next is this site free or not—I tried to put items in my booth and this prompt keeps coming up saying that I have to pay $25 per month?”

To open a regular booth and sell here is free, but maybe – by mistake – You’ve checked in the beginning some membership option? If You don’t wish to keep it, You can easily straight it up with B. support.

" how do I see what is in my booth as a customer sees it."

When You are logged out, You will see, what we all can [URL removed]

Later, when Your items are online, You will understand, working in Your booth, which items are visible and which are reserved etc. (the batch edit search plus dark green, light green, yellow dots…).
Also in every edited listing there is a “Preview listing” button.

Hope Your shop will be online soon.
Good luck!
