Is the booth on vacation feature functional? or way to let customers know of shipping delay?

Twice in the past I used Booth Vacation and each time my booth was in shambles..
When I turned the feature off – Some items were completely missing..
Some were missing pictures,some, parts of descriptions…Frustrating…

We’re sorry to hear of the troubles you’ve experienced with the vacation mode in the past. Sellers place their booth on vacation if they’re going to be away from their inventory for an extended time.

Hi Sistah

I’ve used vac. mode many times in the past, and have never run into those problems. I’m on vac. now due to Canada Post delays, and I did shut down once a couple of weeks ago. There were no problems when I re-opened then.

Thank you for responding..I will be trying the feature again in a few days..

The only issue I have ever had with vacation mode is that items that were on reserve before I went turned on vacation..reactivated upon turning it off…and even incomplete/missing field items went live..so I have to be sure I know which ones to deactivate again when turning off vacation

But I have also used it often..without any major issues

Cindy, I think the last time I used it, the reserved items stayed reserved. Otherwise, it is a PITA making a list.

Had to use it for Hurricane Florence in Sept..was evacuated for 8 days…..everything came back live, items with quantity of 0, previously reserved, and unfinished (missing field) listings…

Yeah, that is a BIG issue! Never again am I using the vacation hold feature. Ridiculous!Should be SOsimple, pause, unpause, everything as you left it. Idk how something so simple can have so many glitches. Manually go through& rereserve outof 2500items.Rememer exactly.& CS acts clueless to theissue.
