Is it possible to pay fees directly, without automated billing?

When a credit card expires for any reason, a Booth gets put on Hold, even if the payment information is immediately updated and the system has the opportunity to resume the automated billing. The Booth Hold can take several days, with significant loss of income for both the Seller and Bonanza.
It has taken up to 5 days for a Top Rated booth to be manually reopened for selling after all fees are paid. It seems it would be easy enough for a Booth Hold to be removed automatically if all Fees are paid. Also, is there a way to pay Fees directly, without having to wait for the automated billing to kick in? Could one specify a backup payment method? That also might be a way to get out of a lengthy and costly halting of business operations.

Well I update my CC here BEFORE the old one expires so dont have that issue but I usually pay my fee with Paypal once it comes to a certain amount. Never had my booth on Hold from non-payments

Yes. If you love Bonanza and wish everyone knew about it, it’s the least we can do since Bonz worked so hard to make the marketplace the most recommended out there. Let’s work together to get the word out! In all fairness, though, the OP actually sells stuff here.

YES, you can pay your fees ANY time, as long as you owe at least $3. Bonanza specifies that minimum so that the fees (PP or credit card) that they pay don’t eat up most of there payment receipts from your payment.

However, I believe that Bonanza will be moving to a model where payment of the FOV fee is taken out of the sale proceeds when the sale happens. From the September 2020 Bonanza Blog (https://www.bonanza.com/blog/main/Q3_Update) :

“You’ve provided feedback that our current billing schedule can be difficult to work into a budget and may impact seller cash flow. We are working to convert our monthly billing cycle to a point-of-sale arrangement. Our goal is to simplify your Final Value Fees and billing statement and to reduce credit card charges. We’ll soon be collecting FVF upon the sale of goods.”

I’d love to know how immediate payment of FVFs improves seller cash-flow. Then again, I only owe them 50 cents. Will they be pulling it from the Paypal transaction or…….. wait for it………. managing payments? Do you happen to know when Paypal will be launching their marketplace?

I assume they will execute it in a manner similar to how sales tax is withheld from the total amount collected. Sale amount – sales tax – FOV = seller pay. Boba can easily work out deal with PP or Stripe to divert FOV feeds to Bonanza.

Boba = Bonanza.

As no one I’m aware of has such an arrangement with Paypal, not the least of which involving FVFs, I beg to differ. Enjoy your Boba while it lasts.

So if the final value fees are taken out at the point of sale that will eliminate paying fees with tokens I am sure.

POS suggests lag time waiting for payments to process, or the managing of payments to a linked bank account; or no more Paypal. This is how all but all the other marketplaces work. Without Paypal as a proxy to doing business online, it would make no sense to sell here any longer.

I like paying once a month…easier to keep track of what I pay..spread sheet, one entry end of month….if taken out at each sale..it will be a pain keeking track of it…..sorry bonz if you keep doing ebay stuff…may have to just stay with my own webstore and move on after 12 yrs

I’ve never had that happen either, as I try to stay aware of the expiration dates on my CC’s.

Just a note re seller [URL removed] If you sign into Bonanza frequently, be sure to get your daily REWARD points! They do add up and you can use them as a credit against your fees. So easy to do and so “rewarding”.
