Is anyone else having problems with drop shippers stealing from them?

4 out of every 5 orders we close on this system ends up being stolen from us.

The Buyers are going to PayPal and reversing their Payments, after the sale.

I’m convinced it’s Drop Shippers stealing to get free product that they list on other sites.

Are you shipping to alternate addresses given to you by the “buyer”? NEVER ship to anywhere except the address supplied by PayPal or Stripe. Otherwise, your Seller protection may not apply.

No… I don’t even understand the question… The order only displays the ship-to that the customer supplies… Why would they supply 2 addresses?

Some scammers will ask you to ship to a different address than what is initially given by the payment processor.

Is it your new merchandise that that’s happening to? It could be drop-shippers or just your everyday thief who is out to get whatever they can for nothing. I sell pre-owned collectibles and toys that my buyers seem to really want, so I haven’t had that problem on a large scale.

What amazes me is how the credit card companies (or PayPal, whoever…) allow these thieves to make charge backs time after time! Seems like the credit card companies are part of the overall problem in enabling these crooks to steal from you!

Sorry this is happening to you.

We’re going to Start including a Note along with the Packing Slip about the Drop Shippers in every Shipment.
Not only on this Platform, but on every Platform we sell on.

This is what it [URL removed]
-————————
Hello and Thank You for your order.

Please see the attached Packing Slip.

If you paid more for your items, or purchased your items from a different store, or a different selling platform other than what you see on your packing slip. Please let us know, as this means you were a Victim of a Drop Shipping Thief.

You can send us a message through the platform and store listed on your packing slip, as well as letting the Customer service reps on Both selling Platforms know that you have been taken advantage of by Drop Shipping Thieves.

Drop shippers are a huge problem for Online Retailers and are basically nothing more than high tech thieves. They steal from both the customers and the sellers whose items, are not theirs to sell.

If you suspect you were the victim of a Drop Shipper, please report them to the selling platform you purchased your items from, and please let us know as well.

Thank you again for your purchase,
It is Honest and loyal Customers like you, that make what we do rewarding.

We’re sending the Same Message to The Fake Accounts who have been back charging our accounts on PayPal already, so they don’t just switch platforms and start doing it to us on eBay or the other sites.

Interesting and useful, but I think this message could be more concise. Start with a bold definition of DROP [URL removed] When a fake seller misrepresents stock as his own. These sellers buy from others and mark up the item to sell to YOU! If you suspect… etc. You can say more in fewer words.

Littleblackdog says: July 20, 2021

Just suggesting a shorter message may be read by more, whereas the longer message would take more time and some people just won’t bother to read it at all. Plus there should be an attention-grabbing beginning.

Maybe first line could [URL removed] ARE YOU A VICTIM OF DROP SHIPPING?? Then define it for those not familiar with the term. Then ask for their help in identifying the offenders, etc. Good luck.

Also can block the buyer in your booth settings, though I doubt they would use same ID every time…

Took Your Advice and Shortened it up a [URL removed] But now we’re being blocked from adding another entry into the Thread. It will let me Comment on the last one. But the Comments are so tiny located at the bottom that I can barely see or read them

onestop…you can only make one follow up post…but you can edit it…and the original one so

Drop shippers are not breaking any rules by selling & having items sent from a 2nd party~~such as selling Walmart items or Amazon items & having Walmart or Amazon ship the items to the buyer. I’ve bought from MANY dropship sellers & had no problems. I just recently had a buyer do the same thing to me with a purchase here on Bonanza. He filed a chargeback through paypal and I lost my $$, my item, my original shipping cost AND Bonanza wouldn’t even give me a refund of my seller fees so I lost that too. I have my items listed here but I really couldn’t care less if anyone purchases from me~~in fact I’ve been thinking of closing my account here. Bonanza offers absolutely no protections for either buyers or seller. The few items I sell here aren’t even worth my time. I sell on ebay & they have protection for both buyers & sellers. I can’t even remember the last time a buyer ever did a chargeback on their payment on an ebay sale~~I’ve been selling there for over 21 years. The problem here on Bonanza is that they offer no protection so it’s breeding ground for scammers. If you sell something here you’re on your own~~they don’t involve themselves if things go wrong. They are a venue & that’s all they are. I average $1200.00+ a month in sales on ebay with no problems. Ebay has a totally different class of buyers~~they aren’t out to screw the sellers. If they do, ebay deals with them. Here on Bonanza they don’t care.

They’They’re Reversing their payments to us. They are Stealing from us to drop ship our items to their customers for free. And they’re doing it over and over again.

onestop_homestop says: July 25, 2021

You Have Zero Idea what you’re talking about. They Are Drop Shippers, because I’ve gone on the other sites and found my pictures, and ordered from them. I ended up having to ship my own items to myself at my wife’s office. Do you really think We’re that stupid ???

kattinsanity says: July 26, 2021

Drop shippers deal mostly with Walmart , Amazon Prime, etc.. They don’t bother with small sellers like yourselves. They get better deals & make more $$ in profit from these other venues than from private sellers. Your items look like you could be a drop shipper?
