I have never listed anything that I had more than one of.
Now I have 8 pairs of identical salt and peppers. I would like to list these so that a customer can buy as many pairs as they would like or all of them if they wish.
How do I do this. I know it is probably simple but my brain has been working overtime today and is a bit fuzzy.

Just put how many you have in the “Quantity Available” box and the buyer will be able to select how many they want in the drop down box in their cart page.
I would also mention in the description that if they want more than one pair, they can choose haw many when they go to their cart. That way you know for sure the buyers know.

When you are listing your item, right above the “Detailed Item Description” box, there is a box to allow you to enter the “QUANTITY AVAILABLE”. Just type in 8 in that box. This will allow buyers to purchase any amount of your item from 1 to 8 when they checkout.

as they are sold, the number available will go down..
They want to purchase more that one, they simply fill in the the # they want in the quantity box that is available in the cart..
Advice
Do not put quantity in the title or the very first line of your description
I would merely list it and then at end say that there are multiple quantities available..otherwise, every time one sells you will have to change the title/body of your of your listing..also, change the ALL Caps…

Thanks for all your help.
I did as you suggested, but when I look at the listing it shows the 8 items available in the item details. If I sell 2 sets how does the next customer know there is only 6 sets left. And where does the customer indicate how many sets they wish to purchase.
Sorry to be such a bother.

If you did as the folks suggested…when you make a sale of say 2 sets of 8…it will automatically update your listing to 6 Available after your sale of 2…Sib—just like when you sold on FeeBay
