Decanter with cup top

I found this small crystal decanter with a small drinking glass that you put on top of it to cover the decanter. What is that called? I guess they use it to put on a night table for drinking at night. You might fill it with water and the drinking glass stops airborne things from falling in the decanter. Is there a special name for that?
Anyone?

Fenton made some beautiful tumble ups. I have a magnificent hand painted one at my shop, or I would post a photo of it.

I’m not sure what its called but I just saw one being used in a movie for drinking liquor. The movie was depicting the 1900’s during the war and a pilot was served a drink of brandy that way. Don’t know if thats much help but I wish you luck in your quest…
