Amazon regularly reviews developers to ensure they are following our data handling policies. Through this review, we have identified that the above mentioned third-party developer is not compliant with our Amazon Service API Developer policies and has not responded to our requests to improve their system.

As a result, they will not be able to maintain access to our API services, and we will deactivate their access on November 1, 2023 which will stop their application from connecting to the Merchant Web Service (MWS) API. This deactivation will disrupt any applications or services you receive from them.

Before we take any action, we wanted to inform you of this so you may be able to take any necessary precautions to ensure your Amazon-related business is not disturbed. Please note, unless otherwise notified, this will not affect other applications you have authorized to use in connection with Amazon MWS or the Selling Partner API (SP-API), including any API credentials assigned to your own account.

Did any other Bonanza sellers that import listings from Amazon receive this e-mail? I also contacted Bonanza Support about this. I will update any response that I receive from them here – if they don’t respond to this post.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hello kathyandgeorge,

Thanks for your question. You may have received an email from Amazon notifying you that Bonanza’s Amazon Importer service would be turned off on November 1, 2023. We can assure you that there will NOT be any service interruptions and your Amazon sync will continue working normally, now and beyond November 1, 2023. No action is needed from your end.
Bonanza has moved all API activity from the Amazon Marketplace Web Services (MWS) to their upgraded SP-API. We are in full compliance with all Amazon developer policies.

Sorry again for any concerns. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. Have a great day!
