Hello,
I’m a bit confused about if we pay a fee to set up a booth.
My understanding is that we have to set up a booth on Bonanza. I read that putting an item for sale on Bonanza is free. However, I also read about a person who had over $300 in fees just to have a booth.
Help please!

It is free to open a booth. What some are doing by error is signing up for premium services such as a monthly fee. If you see something asking you to sign up for a fee, just ignore it. There are NO fee’s associated with a basic booth other than a final value fee when/if the items sell.

Here’s a good help page on Bonanza to explain different membership levels, different types of advertising and about FVF fees plus a little more info.
I do not do the membership but I do take advantage of Bonanza offering us to pick a percentage level so that my items are advertised in Google shopping but the money is only charged to me once I have an item that sells through Google shopping.
Bonanza charges a 3.5% final value fee, so depending on the Google shopping advertising percentage that I select, the percentage gets tacked on to the 3.5% FVF.
All of my sales so far have come from Google shopping.

Unless you pay a fee no one will find your item in search. So its the same as having NO booth at all unless you pay…

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
